New Feature Film "Trust"

Film Synopsis:

Put 12 Reality TV stars in a house together promising them another shot at fifteen minutes of fame and a wad of cash and they will do anything to win.... even if it ends up costing them their life!

Revenge is a funny thing, but when you see an opportunity to even the score, why not create a reality show where the prizes are alluring and the draw to those you seek to punish is irresistible.

Twelve people are chosen to enter the reality house, each desperate for that comeback. The only thing is, they can’t tell anyone they are going on the show as it adds to the big reveal of this new reality TV show which has challenges like the ‘Crystal Maze’ and the social interaction of ‘Big Brother’ with twists and turns thrown in at every step.

Being filmed twenty four seven, all of the contestants play up to the cameras, creating rifts between each of the house mates. Some have past relationships with others in the house adding to the already tense situation.
As people start disappearing from the house after they do one of the challenges, mixed emotions fly. People start to question what is going on as the rules change with every step. Others laugh it off as merely a ploy to boost ratings.

No one really knows whom it is they can trust; everyone is out for himself or herself.

As the number dwindles to just four people it then becomes apparent that the game is not what it seems. When you loose a challenge you loose permanently and with your life in the most horrific way.

With blood, gore, sex and intrigue, ‘TRUST’ is sure to entice any one with the obsession for reality shows and the fascination of horror.

Deadgirl Theatrical Release Stars/Directors in attendence

Dark Sky Films is prepping to do a special midnight theatrical run for their forthcoming festival hit Deadgirl, a horror/thriller about two teenagers who make a shocking discovery that not only threatens their friendship but also their lives. In a forgotten room of an abandoned asylum, they find a beautiful woman tied to a bed, and soon come to realize she is anything but dead. Below we've got a list of the announced midnight dates for JULY 25th, along with which director and/or star will be making a live appearance! Don't miss out!

Dark Sky Films announced today that the film’s cast members and filmmakers will be making special appearances at the film’s midnight showings on July 24th and 25th. The film will be released theatrically as a simultaneous, one-weekend, midnight only, roadshow-style theatrical event, currently in 9 major markets.

Says Dark Sky’s Marketing Manager Nicole Mikuzis, “The buzz on the film has been at a steady increase since its debut at the Toronto film festival, and we hope to build upon that momentum with nationwide midnight events. There is nothing like being part of a festival or midnight audience and sharing an experience as shocking, thought-provoking and polarizing as the one DEADGIRL provides. We would like to bring that type of festival ‘event’ experience to moviegoers around the country. No matter where it plays, it will be bound to cause some very animated audience reactions, much like those that we have seen at every screening thus far.”

It has been called “audacious” (Hollywood Reporter), “unsettlingly sexual” (IndieWIRE) and “pretty much f***ing brilliant” (Ain’t It Cool News). Thought to be too controversial to release, it would go on to shock festival audiences, outrage religious groups, and blow away midnight movie crowds from coast to coast. It remains one of the most daringly original and disturbing films of our time.

Shiloh Fernandez (RED), Noah Segan (BRICK), Michael Bowen (KILL BILL) and Candice Accola (JUNO) star in this story of two high school misfits who cut school to explore the remains of an abandoned hospital. The gruesome discovery they make will test the very limits of their sanity and tear apart their young lives forever: A woman stripped naked and chained to a table. She’s abandoned, beautiful and dead…or is she? From the producer of HELLRAISER and HEATHERS comes this depraved, poignant and genre-busing new indie classic about intimacy, morality and the horror of growing up. You may scream in terror, gasp with disgust, or debate it for days, but one thing is for certain: You will never forget DEADGIRL.
